Dr Who, Anikator and Time...

This week has been very interesting, I have discovered a great new website (http://www.anikator.com/). With this website you can think of a character from any series, movie, genre or a famous person in real life and the computer will ask you questions with set answers to deduce who it is. This may not sound like fun however you will get addicted trying to beat the game...much like Simon!

Doctor Who has finished its two parter involving "the silence". A very interesting species of aliens who have been guiding humanity since the wheel. Though they look very obvious they have a secret weapon, once you stop looking at them you forget they are even alive. Thus you can't do anything about them. I won't say anything else as I don't want to do anything to ruin the episodes. (Picture Below)

Lastly time...Where to begin? Since the release of Thor I have not been able to stop myself checking other movies such as Captain America and The Hobbit Part 1 and 2. I check to see; who is playing which character? Has there been a change in the rumored possibilty that Leonard Nimoy will be playing Smaug the dragon? Leonard Nimoy of course being the actor that played Spock in the old Star Trek movies and the series Star Trek: Enterprise.

And that it seems is the end of this blog post. Until next week...

Royal wedding, Spotify changes and a 4 day weekend. How my life is being disturbed. An extra day off for the royal wedding is nice don't get me wrong. However I think that two 3 day weekends are better than one 4 day weekend. Seen as how the royal family decreed that there would be a bank holiday, surely they could google when the bank holidays occur and stage the royal wedding the week after. The royal wedding is all a publicity stunt anyway so the date should be down to the public. However with the royal wedding being out in the open there is a chance that we could have another 3 day weekend because of a royal funeral...

Spotify will be changing come Monday 2nd May 2011. Unless you upgrade to premium you will not be allowed to listen to a track more than 5 times and you will only be allowed 10 hours of listening a month. Though I understand a need to monitise a company why must you degrade a fine british product. A cap on amount of use per month is fine in my opinion, however only being allowed to listen to a single track 5 times ever is frustrating. Do they care about their users.

The final thing that has happened within the last 7 days was the BBC deciding that the Indiana Jones movies were Easter holiday material. How does nazi defiance and relic theft strike you as Easter holiday fun? To me that Harrison Ford collection should only be shown together when he stars in a major movie or series...though that could be a while. His acting life in the last year has been as interesting as Matt Damon's opinions on Charlie Sheen's drug life.

See you soon

Week 1

I have decided to make my weekly blog. I will be trying to make this interesting, humerous and truthful. There will be a blog update atleast once a week. This will be simple enough for me.
